English and Danish version on VHS and DVD:
Karen Blixen – Storyteller adds vital pieces to the jigsaw puzzle of Karen Blixen’s
(Isak Dinesen) enigmatic personality. The film includes hitherto unknown shots from the author’s triumphal tour of the
US in 1959, where she took part in several talk shows. A number of her close Danish friends also appear: Thorkild Bjørnvig,
poet and author of The Pact about his friendship with Blixen, Aage Henriksen, professor of literature and author of several
books on Blixen, Knud W. Jensen, founder of Louisiana, the celebrated museum of modern art, Nils Carlsen, who was a boy at
Rungstedlund, and her sister-in-law Jonna Dinesen.
